Terms of Participation

Who these terms are with
These terms are a contract between you and KimmiCon Limited (company no. 17283666, registered office Red House, Welford Road, Chapel Brampton, Northampton NN6 8AG), trading as Re:Build ("we", "us", "the organiser"). Re:Build 2027 runs on 5 & 6 May 2027 at the Business Design Centre, London, with the full programme of activities and schedules published on rebuildcon.uk.
Tickets and payment
Ticket prices include UK VAT at 20%. This applies to every attendee regardless of where they're travelling from, inside or outside the EU, since event admission is taxed based on where the event happens, not where the buyer is based.
You can pay by card at checkout, or by bank transfer. Bank transfers must clear within 30 days of your invoice, and in any case no later than 5th April 2027 (30 days before the event). After that, unpaid tickets are released and entry may be refused.
Cancelling or transferring your ticket
To cancel, email us in writing at kim@rebuildcon.uk. What you get back depends on when we hear from you:
- Notice by 5th January 2027: full refund, less a £70 admin fee per ticket
- Notice between 6th January and 11th February 2027: 50% refund
- Notice after 11th February 2027: no refund
Prefer to pass your ticket to someone else? That's fine until 28th April 2027. Just send us your reservation ID, your own name and email, and the name, job role, company and email of the new ticket holder.
We don't offer credits for late cancellations or no-shows. We do reserve the right to cancel any registration ourselves, in which case we'll refund it in full. Programme times and speakers are subject to change; get in touch at kim@rebuildcon.uk with any questions.
If Re:Build has to change
Things outside our control, such as a pandemic, industrial action, government restrictions, extreme weather, terrorism or war, may force us to postpone Re:Build. If that happens, we'll do our best to reschedule to a new date, and your ticket carries over automatically. If the new date doesn't work for you, you can transfer your ticket to someone else or ask for a refund. If we're unable to reschedule at all and have to cancel outright, or if we cancel for any other reason, we'll refund your ticket fee.
Any refund we make because of a Force Majeure Event may be reduced by non-recoverable costs we've already committed on your behalf, for example a venue deposit or supplier payment that can't be returned to us. We'll tell you if a deduction applies and how we've worked it out.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Travel and accommodation are your own responsibility and at your own risk, so we'd suggest travel insurance that covers event postponement, in case Re:Build's dates move.
Code of Respect
By buying or receiving a ticket, you're agreeing to help keep Re:Build safe and respectful, and to be bound by our Code of Respect. Breaching it can mean immediate removal from the event without refund, and exclusion from future Re:Build events. You're responsible for your own conduct at Re:Build, including not engaging in anything unlawful.

Badges and sponsor scanning
Your badge is your ticket into the venue and every session, so keep hold of it and be ready to show it if asked. Without a valid badge, you may be refused entry. It carries your name, company and a QR code containing a unique ID; sponsors' lead-scanning apps use that ID to pull up your name, company, job title and email address. Letting a sponsor scan your badge means sharing those details with them directly, and opting in to hear from them. You're free to decline a scan at any time.
Photography and video
We may photograph or film at Re:Build, and use the results, including your image or voice if you're in shot, on our website, social channels, livestreams and other Re:Build materials. If you'd rather not appear, tell the registration desk and we'll give you a way to opt out (such as a different lanyard colour or a sticker) so our photographers know to avoid you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
