When and where is Re:Build?

Re:Build runs 5 & 6 May 2027 (Wednesday & Thursday) at the Business Design Centre, 52 Upper Street, London N1 0QH.

What's included in my ticket?

Every ticket includes full two-day access, all talks, stages and round tables, lunch and refreshments, and the social events. Pricing rises in stages as the event gets closer. See the Tickets section for current pricing and on-sale dates.

Is Re:Build right for my experience level?

Yes, if you build software. Sessions are pitched at practising engineers, from a few years in to staff, principal and engineering leaders. The discussion formats work because people bring different levels of experience, so you'll learn as much from the tables as from the stage.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes. Group bookings of 5 or more tickets get 10% off, and 10 or more get 20% off. Discounts are applied automatically at checkout. We also hold a limited number of community passes for students, unemployed, and under-represented groups; email kim@rebuildcon.uk for more information.

Can I buy tickets before I know who's attending?

Yes. You can book tickets without attendee names, and add them later from the link in your confirmation email. This is useful if you're securing seats for your team at Founding or Early prices before deciding who goes. All names need to be added by 28 April 2027.

What's your refund policy?

If you cancel by 5 January 2027, you'll receive a full refund minus a £70 admin cost per ticket. Cancellations received between 6 January and 11 February 2027 get a 50% refund on the paid ticket price. After 11 February 2027, tickets are non-refundable. You can transfer your ticket to someone else until 28 April 2027. See the full Terms of Participation for the complete cancellation and transfer terms.

Can I speak at Re:Build?

Our Call For Participation hasn't opened yet. Join the mailing list to be notified when it opens, or email kim@rebuildcon.uk for more details.

Can my company sponsor Re:Build?

Yes. Re:Build is vendor-neutral, so sponsorship fuels the event. Sponsoring opportunities are now open. Email kim@rebuildcon.uk for more details.

What does a day actually look like?

A mix of conference sessions, lightning talks, round tables, goldfish bowl and lean coffee discussions, workshops and labs, plus plenty of open space and hallway time. See the Schedule section for the current placeholder day shape. The real schedule lands once the CFP closes and talks are confirmed.

Will talks be recorded?

No. Re:Build is designed to be experienced in the room. Most of the value is in the conversations. You may see our photographers and a camera capturing the atmosphere, but sessions themselves won't be published.

Getting to the Business Design Centre

Local Transport

There are many ways to get to the venue including the London Underground, Overground and Bus networks. The nearest tube station, Angel, is a five minute walk away, allowing you to travel to Central London within minutes. Just a little further in the opposite direction is Highbury & Islington station, with great underground and overground connections. There are many bus stops near the venue which cover several routes in and around London.

Outside the UK

The venue is easily accessible for international visitors, with Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted and London City Airport providing express train services into central London. King's Cross St Pancras International train station is also only a tube stop away, and connects London to Europe via the Eurostar.

Is the venue accessible?

Do you provide visa invitation letters?

Yes. If you have a paid ticket and need a letter to support a UK visa application, email kim@rebuildcon.uk with:

• your full name, exactly as it appears on your passport
• your nationality and passport number

We'll send a signed letter on KimmiCon Ltd letterhead confirming your registration and the event dates (5 & 6 May 2027). Please allow up to 5 working days, and apply early, as UK visa processing can take several weeks. The letter confirms your attendance but can't guarantee a visa decision.

Not sure whether you need a visa? Check on GOV.UK. Some nationalities who don't need a visa now need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) instead.

Can you cater for my dietary requirements?

Yes. Tell us about any dietary requirements when you book, or email kim@rebuildcon.uk up to two weeks before the event.

Hotels

The local area is well served by hotels and Airbnb. The closest hotels to the event venue are Hilton London Islington and Premier Inn London Islington. A quick search of Hotels.com will also provide a great many results.
